All of our
instructors have made significant contributions to baseball, both
on and off the field. Our core instructors have played a
very advanced level of baseball and been coaching and/or
instructing players for more than 30 combined years.
Steve Frusolone (Founder)

Steve has been coaching and instructing players of all ages since
1995. Played semi-professionally on
various teams. Steve's specialty is working with players 18
and under, with particular expertise in hitting, pitching and
middle infield.

baseball or softball. In addition, my teaching philosophy is such that I build a
relationship with these kids first and work with their natural
abilities to create a positive, successful experience."

Head Varsity Baseball Coach - Grayslake High School
Troy has been coaching baseball since 1996. An
accomplished player, coach and instructor, Troy brings a wealth of
expertise to Diamond. Tony Tichy
Head Varsity Baseball Coach - Niles North
Tony has been coaching players of varying age groups and skill levels
since 1997. He provides expertise in all positions as well
as hitting.
Steven Gomez
Former College Baseball Coach
Steven brings extensive coaching experience to Diamond Baseball
Academy. He provides particular expertise and instruction
with hitting, outfield play and baserunning. Played both
college and semi-pro baseball in Illinois. Steven is also an
American Sport Education Program registered coach.

Megan Lavery (Softball Instructor)
Head Coach - Grayslake Middle School
Megan is a very accomplished softball player, coach and
instructor. In addition to playing college softball on a
full scholarship, Megan also coached an 18U travel team in
Illinois.
In addition to our core
instructors, we work with a very select group of individual
instructors who specialize in specific target skills.
